I
started learning guitar at the age of ten at my home in Birnie,
Near Elgin. After a while I joined in with bands at wedding
dances etc and decided this is what I would like to do on a more
professional basis.
We formed a band called "Rendezvous" doing pubs, clubs and
wedding dances etc. We were popular and lasted several years. I
then joined a very popular local five piece band called
"Mosaic",(Pictured left) who were doing Country Clubs, Country Shows etc as
well as the usual pubs and clubs.
My Solo Career
I
decided to go solo about 12 years ago; my
Timber
Building business was getting busy, I felt I couldn’t continue to travel
with the band.
I
have never looked back since making that decision.
I try to please all ages at my gigs, with all types of music
and throwing in some 'comedy' with my puppets, who are very
popular with all age groups. I mainly do bookings within
the surrounding area but have travelled as far as Shetland (by
popular demand for one night only) and down as far as Ayr.
I have been the warm up act for singer/songwriter Raymond Froggatt on several occasions and have also appeared several
times at the Country and Irish Invergordon Festival.

My last CD was 'My Choices'. My latest CD is in the pipeline.
I do specialise in parties e.g. Birthdays, Anniversaries and
Weddings. |
